Gerdes Art
Delton Gerdes
I work primarily in watercolor, having learned some unique techniques that allow me to create a realistic image that is also a little loose and has a color working that is left to itself many times, “ a happy accident”. I have learned to embrace that and let color express the feelings or emotion of the subject matter while staying true to the real world – sometimes.
As most know, it is in the last 10% of completing the art where it finally “has a voice and starts to sing”. I love putting that last small highlight or dark definition that completes the art, My Ah-Ha moment!

Jewell’s Jelly & Jams
Ariel Jewell
I'm a country girl born and raised in Texas so naturally I have a deep love for foraging in the Central Texas area. I started making mustang grape jelly with my grandpa when I was 13 years old. We would go out every summer in July and pick them off the fence lines in Llano County. Once he got too old to do it anymore, I took over. We just made it to share with family and friends but 4 or 5 years ago I started experimenting with other flavors and before I knew it our Harry Potter closet was full of jam! I never set out to have a business but here I am, still going strong!
I work full time as a Paramedic in Austin and for me cooking is a way to get out of my head and put aside all the things I see at work. It brings me a lot of peace. It's a lot of work and the current economy hasn't made it easy, but I'm going to keep going as long as I can. When I get repeat customers or feedback from new ones on how amazing all of my flavors are, it gives me drive to keep pushing the envelope and develop even more flavor combos. I have over 100 varieties already!

PhotoSojourner
Jim Collier
I am a traveling photographer who specializes in landscapes and seascapes. I create my own prints and photo art tiles, and arrange for the printing of canvas prints of my images.
I bought my first camera when I was 16 years old, and working for Sears and Roebuck Company. It was my first employee discount purchase. I have had a camera with me where ever I go for the last 58 years, and I am constantly trying improve my skill while I search for the unusual image. I am a self taught photographer, film processor, and printer.
Although I taught myself how to process and print traditional film, I found the transition to digital technology a huge step forward, both in the taking of a photograph and working in the digital darkroom. I am constantly amazed as my images are transformed as my workflow takes me through various processing programs.
I see photography as an adventure in art, filled with surprises as I better appreciate and pause and reflect on the power and the frailness of our environment.
Visiting art galleries and art markets has been one of my favorite past times, so several years ago I began to participate in both gallery and open air art markets, in San Antonio, Texas; New Braunfels, Texas, as well as at Port Aransas and Ingram, Texas. I really enjoy the excitement artist and their art work generates, and the inquisitiveness of prospective buyers.

Christina Smith
Mother’s Day is May 14th. What mom wouldn’t tear up if she was given this memorable gift on her special day? This is an example of one of the many high quality laser designed wood products that Teezy Weezy Designs has been proudly providing since 2012. What differentiates this company from other businesses is Christina’s ability to truly connect with her customers and provide the exceptional, compassionate service they deserve.
